Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The Bending Specialist within production drives the Faurecia Bending Technology and develops bending processes for new products and product changes. The primary responsibilities include:
• Support development and improvement of processes and programs within his/her perimeter
• Develop and deploy process standards, design checklist/guidelines and best practices.
• Continuous improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tooling and equipment.
• Trouble shooting: Support production or parts suppliers to solve problems related to process engineering.
Maintenance of series production:
- Engineering Change Management: Assist in analyzing, validating and implementing process modifications.
- Capacity Management: Support the maintenance of a local database of tooling and equipment.
Program:
- Feedback existing status and plant's recommendations for process issues.
- Participate in tooling and equipment follow-up and validations.
- Support reception and start-up of tooling and equipment.
Process development
- Define process solutions and ensure that process standards are applied.
- Support the Identification of available capacity.
- Release tooling and equipment specifications.
Standardization
- Define, maintain and improve process standards in his/her field of expertise (tooling, equipment).
- Create and maintain related process specifications.
- Ensure that process / equipment standards are applied (plants and programs).
Best practices
- Identify and validate best practices in his/her perimeter.
- Integrate best practices in process guidelines and/or standards.
- Promote and ensure deployment of best practices.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Preferably a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
• At least 10 years of tube bending experience
• 5 years in a manufacturing environment with broad knowledge of manufacturing methods
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record in upholding safety and quality standards
