This organization provides end-to-end support to makers and manufacturers throughout the product development and delivery process.
Job Summary
As a Quality Engineer II, you will perform final, in-process, and receiving inspections, audits, and other quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with specifications and build requirements. This role involves data analysis, report generation, and the application of problem-solving tools such as A3 and 8D techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with systems engineering to review customer, industry, and technical specifications for compliance.
  • Perform checks of build instructions against drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct random, scheduled, and unscheduled audits to verify conformance with customer specifications, technical drawings, manufacturers' specifications, assembly manuals, and company processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis by evaluating material returns, reviewing documentation, interviewing employees, and assessing adherence to quality standards to identify defects or process breakdowns.
  • Maintain and analyze data logs, including quality metrics, returned materials, supplier information, nonconformances, errors, findings, and recommendations for process improvement.
  • Prepare product return documentation for supplier failure analysis and monitor corrective action responses.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining International Organization for Standardization (ISO) documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies.
  • Identify, investigate, and contribute to process and procedural improvements, including tracking key performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Experience with quality tools and problem-solving methodologies, such as A3 and 8D techniques.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and trend chart creation.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and specifications, with the ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.
  • Experience conducting audits and inspections to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Proven ability to perform root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and documentation processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
