Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a PDU Assembler to join their team. As a PDU Assembler I, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of Power Distribution Units (PDU). The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be a team player, and have a desire to learn and grow within the organization. Job Title: PDU Assembler Location: Santa Ana, CA Pay Range: $22.00 + $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift assignment. What's the Job? Timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications involving complex and repetitive wiring and mechanics for Power Distribution Units (PDU). Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub-assemblies and assemblies. Use cranes to pick up, and move materials. Be responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly. Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product. Perform point to point wiring during the assembling of Power Distribution Units. Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and making necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goals. Adhere to company, environmental, health, safety rules and regulations. Provide process and safety improvement ideas. Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S+. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Experience in production, packaging or construction. Previous experience with standard operating procedures. Previous experience with product electrical assembly, maintenance and/or repair.
