Senior Accountant
Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ü Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
ü Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts ü Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
ü Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met ü Prepare financial management reports
ü Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
ü Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
ü Reconcile general ledger accounts ü Book required journal entries in accordance with properly executed schedules
ü Produce monthly closing schedules for benefits, payroll, debt and prepaids
ü Coordinate the intercompany process with subsidiary Companies
ü Resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities
ü Monitors and supports taxation issues
ü Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
ü Ensures accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses ü Reconciles and analyzes on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
ü Analyzes financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
ü Performs other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting; 2 - 3+ years of related experience; CPA desired. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting Software (Netsuite and/or Sage Intacct); Payroll Systems (ADP); Spreadsheet Software (Excel) intermediate level; Word Processing Software (Word); Presentation Software (PowerPoint); Proprietary Software.
