Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day global accounting operations including the general ledger, inventory, fixed assets, intangible assets, accruals, intercompany transactions, intangible assets, debt, and equity.
  • Lead accurate and timely month-end close and reporting processes, including consolidation,
  • FX revaluation and translation, journal entry review, flux analysis, reconciliation review and
  • financial reporting.
  • Manage, support, and develop the global accounting team while driving efficiency and
  • automation to meet the demands of our high-growth business.
  • Establish, document and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • company wide.
  • Collaborate cross functionally including with other finance team members to develop, drive
  • and implement efficient accounting processes and controls.
  • Assist the Controller and CFO with investor relations activities, including preparing materials
  • for audit committee and board meetings.
  • Lead the external audit preparations and liaise with the Company's auditors, tax preparers
  • and international statutory audit processes.
  • Streamline and optimize financial processes, leveraging technology and best practices to
  • enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Establish, document and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • company wide.
  • Oversee, mentor and develop the global accounting team.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Seeking five to seven years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years as an accounting manager or similar role.
  • Knowledgeable of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.
  • Proficiency in accounting ERP systems (NetSuite and/or Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach, driving processes and system solutions.
  • Effective communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team.
