As part of the Structured Finance Team, you will collaborate with internal functional leaders to source, structure, negotiate, close, and manage financial transactions. Deals leverage balance sheet capital and align with the firm's financial strategies. The organization is uniquely positioned to create innovative financial transactions which may include billion-dollar bond raises for off-balance-sheet renewable energy prepayment transactions, creative deal structures for public-facing EV charging services, behind-the-meter solar and storage contracts through municipal resilience programs, loan offerings for transportation electrification and municipal programs and more. Deals may utilize IRA benefits, scalable VPPs, and strategies to accelerate decarbonization and provide equitable clean energy services.

The Senior Manager of Structured Finance will:

  • Participate in or lead Structured Finance deals by providing input on prospective deals and financing structures, counterparty selection and relationship management, term sheet drafting, negotiations, issue resolution, and reporting.

  • Bring a commercial perspective to deal negotiations and coordinate with legal counsel and team members.

  • Work closely the program development team on product offerings

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage deals post-close

  • Identify, plan, and develop new initiatives to enhance organizational value

  • Other projects and duties, as assigned

Here is what you will need to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 4 years of experience in energy finance or similar; MBA is preferred

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in structured finance, project finance, capital markets, and/or lending

  • A strong background in finance, investment, and deal structuring/negotiation

  • Strong Excel skills and ability to build financial models

  • Project finance expertise within clean energy sector

  • Willingness and ability to be hands-on and manage multiple projects

  • High attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work independently

  • Top notch written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience leading and influencing others
