Regional Sales Director

About the job:
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for building, developing, motivating and maintaining a Sales team in America. They will be accountable to define and meet budget expectations and sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Provide clear strategic direction for Sales activities in a multi-year timeframe.
Build, develop, motivate and maintain a team to cover sales of our client's entire product line in America.
Coordinate the acquisition of market research and competitor insights to improve the Sales targeting process.
Manage the budget within the agreed, allocated level and set sales targets for the team in conjunction with the Overseas Sales director and Global Product Line Director
Provide market and customer insight information to colleagues to shape the Sales activities in regions beyond those assigned.
Qualifications:
A strategic understanding of the lubricants and additives industry and how it functions.
Excellent interpersonal skills, the role will involve managing challenging situations.
Collaboration – you will be part of a team that will need to make decisions in the best interests. That requires consideration for other geographic market areas and the customer base.
Leadership skills – ability to influence and motivate the team and organization internally and continuously improve its reputation externally.
