About the job:

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for building, developing, motivating and maintaining a Sales team in America. They will be accountable to define and meet budget expectations and sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear strategic direction for Sales activities in a multi-year timeframe.

  • Build, develop, motivate and maintain a team to cover sales of our client's entire product line in America.

  • Coordinate the acquisition of market research and competitor insights to improve the Sales targeting process.

  • Manage the budget within the agreed, allocated level and set sales targets for the team in conjunction with the Overseas Sales director and Global Product Line Director

  • Provide market and customer insight information to colleagues to shape the Sales activities in regions beyond those assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A strategic understanding of the lubricants and additives industry and how it functions.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the role will involve managing challenging situations.

  • Collaboration – you will be part of a team that will need to make decisions in the best interests. That requires consideration for other geographic market areas and the customer base.

  • Leadership skills – ability to influence and motivate the team and organization internally and continuously improve its reputation externally.
