Responsibilities:
  • Lead innovative medical equipment management and safety programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the integration of cutting-edge healthcare technology.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to drive impactful healthcare solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, or Certification as a Clinical Engineer (CCE).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in hospital or healthcare settings, with a focus on medical equipment maintenance or management.
  • Deep understanding of computer-based medical systems, networking protocols, and information security.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive medical equipment management programs compliant with healthcare standards.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of effective health information technology deployment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within a medical center's Biomedical Engineering department or understanding of VISN, VA medical center, and Biomedical Engineering operations.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing recall and safety alert programs for medical devices.
  • A strong communicator, adept at collaborating with technical and professional staff across various organizational levels.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is required.
