Job Description:

As the Veterinary Medical Director, you will play a key role in our organization by providing high-quality medical care to our patients and exceptional leadership to our team of veterinarians. You will be responsible for overseeing the medical operations of the clinic and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, performing surgeries, and prescribing medications

- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients in collaboration with the veterinary team

- Oversee the medical operations of the clinic, including maintaining medical records, ordering and maintaining medical supplies, and ensuring compliance with all medical protocols and standards

- Provide mentorship and guidance to other veterinarians and support staff

- Maintain open communication with clients, providing education and guidance on pet health and wellness

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian

- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
