Job Summary

InSite Health Care Management is seeking a talented and highly motivated Histology Technician to perform a full range of services in a surgical pathology laboratory. To join our team, you need to be driven to have an impact on the lives of the patients we serve, be results oriented, adaptable, dedicated and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Maintains the Lab's TAT and routine histology duties: microtomy, embedding, cutting, staining intensity, proper cover slipping and staining artifacts
  • Operates automated laboratory instrumentation.
  • Orders/requests supplies when needed
  • Maintains policies and procedures to State/CLIA standards for successful State/CLIA inspections
  • Record keeping and quality control logs and documentation.
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must be certified HT or HTL experienced Histotech and ASCP certified.
  • 2-5 years Histotech experience required
