Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of standardized preparations and staining techniques of tissue sections from surgical or autopsy material.
  • Work with minimal supervision and coordinate workflow with other employees.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to junior staff members as needed.
  • Ensure high-quality results and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in an anatomic pathology laboratory is preferred.
  • Current Histology Technician (HT) Certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board (ASCP) is required.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
