Description:
Position Summary: We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team at EG America. EG America is a leading convenience store operator with nearly 1,600 company owned and operated locations across the United States. EG America's corporate support center is located in Westborough, MA.

As the Recruiting Coordinator you will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition Team, supporting the recruitment strategy for EG America. The Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with Talent Acquisition Leadership and the recruiting team and the like to ensure the success against department goals, as well as the broader company goals and strategic direction. As we continue to scale and grow the organization, our focus is on maintaining our high standards of customer service for our candidates and Hiring Managers. Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and coordinate candidate pipeline.
  2. Conduct pre-employment checks as needed
  3. Provide additional support to recruiters where necessary.
  4. Provide prompt communication with candidates and managers.
  5. Assist with additional ad hoc projects such as updating social media pages, blog posts, and running weekly and monthly reports for Talent Acquisition leadership
  6. Assist with administration of our Applicant tracking system (opening closing reqs, giving user access)


Working Relationships:

The Recruiting Coordinator works daily with members of the Talent Acquisition Team. The Recruiting Coordinator will also partner daily with other areas of HR (ie: training, compensation, benefits, business partnership, operations) as well as hiring managers/customers across the Company.

Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience:
  • 1+ years of staffing experience
  • Experience working with an ATS and other HR technology/software/systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Preferred Experience:
  • 1-3 years of staffing or retail recruiting experience.
  • Experience in Snag and/or Ultipro
  • Advanced in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Soft Skills:
  • Customer Service skills/experience required; excellent relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure or in a fast paced environment, juggle multiple (often competing) priorities, and ability to push back with professionalism
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written); analytical and naturally inquisitive
  • Ability to problem solve, facilitate, and partner; a positive, can-do approach to the work
  • Willing to take the initiative or suggest creative solutions
  • Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality

Hours & Conditions: Monday Through Friday 8:30am-5pm. The positon may allow for flexible start/end time, but will need to accommodate business needs and subject to manager and LST approval. This position requires reporting to the office three times per week with an option for a hybrid work schedule of two days per week from a home office. The hybrid work flexibility is up to department managers discretion and requires LST approval.
