Specific duties include but are not limited to

As an embedded software developer for the Transmission software team, expected to
  • Implement software designs for terrestrial modulators, transmitter control systems, and audio transmission equipment under the direction of a team leader.
  • Provide maintenance/support for existing terrestrial modulators, transmitter control systems, and audio transmission equipment by solving customer reported issues and implementing new features.
  • Participate in product functional test and pre-release validation
  • Participate as a member of a geographically distributed software team
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • 3 - 5 years embedded software development experience for real-time control and monitoring on Linux or other real-time operating systems such as Free RTOS using C and/or C++. Experience to include work on Linux kernel or drivers.
  • BSEE or BSCS with course work in microprocessors and the C and C++ programming language
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong inter-personal skills
