Cigna is currently hiring an Enrollment/Billing Sr. Representative. The Facets Adjustment Analyst is responsible for managing all administrative adjustment related items and inquiries for the Facets billing team. This includes, reviewing all administrative adjustments and manual ACH requests for accuracy and completion prior to being processed. Researching any unidentified check or electronic payments received and coordinating with the assigned Financial Analyst to get the funds applied correctly. Managing discretionary adjustments sent to the Facets billing team through the Underwriting Dashboard and submitting these for processing prior to system deadlines. Reviewing and processing Specialty Adjustments submitted by matrix partners prior to system deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES: Verification sign-off on all Administrative Adjustments requiring Management approval Verification sign-off on all Manual ACH requests requiring Management approval Research and resolve unidentified cash items (no plan number included with payments) Manage Facets Underwriting Bill Adjustment mailbox and submit discretionary adjustments prior to system deadlines. Prepare specialty adjustments prior to system deadlines Drives changes in client behavior to achieve Cigna's financial results Conduct and lead training on administrative approval processes Identify potential up-training for partners in regards to Administrative Adjustments and work with Technical Coaches and Supervisors to determine need for additional training. Utilize problem solving skills and financial knowledge to identify root cause of client issues and partner with Payment Control team to improve the client experience and reduce financial risk Updates reporting timely and accurately Create and Maintain required SOP documentation and examples to support the role QUALIFICATIONS: HS Diploma or GED. Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred Strong Technical and analytical skills Strong Attention to detail Ability to effectively problem-solve issues to resolution Strong customer-centric focus and ability to work directly with point of contact in a client-facing role Ability to establish strong matrix partner relationships and follow through on expectations Demonstrate ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly while utilizing perseverance and customer-centric approaches in day-to-day work Ability to manage multiple and divergent priorities and deadlines Work independently and proactively with minimal support Basic knowledge of multiple software and system-based applications, including database and spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, tracking systems) Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills to effectively communicate and interact with all levels and functions within the organization If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 28 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
