POSITION SUMMARY: The Operational Support Specialist supports the operational team with scheduling, proper billing, coding and billing. They are the first point of contact for scheduling needs. This position may work several different schedules and be located in any market. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Manage, update and correct any and all scheduling concerns with qualified, properly credentialed candidates
  • Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking over and analyzing scheduling, open post, and overtime related data
  • Draft reports and prepare presentations on status of physical security scheduling and manning needs or developing concerns
  • Create and maintain master schedules within WinTeam and update working schedules as required and/or needed
  • Assisting with call out notifications and coverage of the open posts to meet contract hours
  • Update and track paid time off requests, updating schedules as needed and processing request with payroll for proper pay out
  • Oversee use of client systems to create required client accesses and badging to new FCS employees
  • Running and verifying reports for accurate payroll and schedule reporting weekly (Schedule Activity Report)
  • Attentively listen and forward any employee concerns to the appropriate departments for resolution in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Assist with resolution of customer escalations and ticketing concerns. Collecting all data and information associated with escalation and reporting all to FCS management and Client teams
  • Update and/or report any and all financial or invoice related data for proper invoice reporting


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience: 1+ year in a physical security or equivalent environment 1+ Years of demonstrated leadership skills
  • Internal Candidates- Participated in an Integrated Project Team or served as a part of team to complete general project
    2+ years of supervisory experience
  • 1+ year working in an operations, physical security or equivalent environment
  • 2+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data
  • Participated in an Integrated Project Team or served as part of team to complete a general project
  • 2+ years of experience compiling reports
  • 1+ years of demonstrated leadership skills
  • 1+ years of incident response & management experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Meets/exceeds First Coast Security's leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds First Coast Security's functional/technical depth and complexity

  • Ability to reach forward to answer the telephone and to use the computer
  • Ability to power grip the telephone, finger press to operate the computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone keypad, and pulp pinch to handle papers
  • Possess speaking skills and hearing ability to interact with customers on the telephone
