To effectively understand and meet client goals, it is essential to engage deeply with clients, discerning their mission's core objectives and pinpointing critical challenges and gaps, form the foundation for defining a strategic path, and develop a comprehensive product roadmaps, including key milestones, features, and timelines crucial for the development and deployment of products.

Collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the program spectrum is vital, including SMEs, human-centered design (HCD) leads, technologists, and engineers, all working in concert to comprehend requirements, collect feedback, and ensure alignment with mission goals. A project manager must elicit, prioritize, and manage requirements for detecting and deterring healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse, striking a balance between user needs, technical feasibility, and security considerations. Leading product development requires guiding cross-functional teams comprised of solutions architects, engineers, data scientists, and SMEs to design, develop, and deploy solutions that revolutionize fraud, waste, and abuse detection methodologies.

Maintaining technical expertise and a broad understanding of the array of technologies and solutions being deployed in the federal space, including Generative AI and machine learning applications at the tactical edge. Proactive risk management is also a key responsibility, necessitating the identification and mitigation of risks associated with technical projects, including data privacy concerns and potential security vulnerabilities. Finally, evaluating performance is imperative. Establishing metrics and objectives, including key results and helping to evaluate the performance, effectiveness, and impact of solutions. Continuous iteration and optimization based on feedback and results are essential for success in this role. Work with us to transform the future of digital platforms. You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in a product-focused business, driving strategy, customer experience, product capability, and performance management on data and software engineering teams

  • 5+ years of experience with managing a data environment and technology functions

  • Experience in guiding end-to-end product development efforts, defining products and their features, establishing delivery strategies and roadmaps, and partnering with engineering stakeholders to deliver high-impact features with a goal towards a mature product

  • Experience with presenting to executive and senior leadership and handling sensitive client escalations

  • Experience with establishing documentation and procedural standards for transition and steady-state environments, including data management, governance plans, and operational continuity documentation, such as security, disaster recovery, and annual utilization reports

  • Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, DevSecOps, and Data and IT Operations practices and concepts, including Cloud computing models, such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Federal Government programs or project management

  • Experience working with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

  • Experience with healthcare payer audits, investigations, and reviews

  • Knowledge of data driven healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse detection methodologies or techniques

  • Bachelor's degree in a Healthcare field, including Science, Public Health, Policy, Administration, or a related field

  • Certified Information Technology Manager (CITM) Certification

  • Information Technology Management and Leadership Professional Certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certification

  • Six Sigma Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
