Job Title: Radiology Technologist Job Description These Radiology Technologists (RTs) will be using digital radiography versus computed radiography or film. The Digital Radiography (DR) provides a dynamic range, faster rate, and dose efficiency, making the RT's job easier. They will also use a Shimadzu portable system, which is easy to use and move around for patient imaging. Additionally, RTs will assist with front and back office medical assistant duties such as point-of-care testing, taking vitals, and rooming patients. Qualifications Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 90 days of hire Soft Skills Ability to collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants Effective communication and organizational skills Flexibility to work at multiple locations within a 30-mile radius Adaptability to change locations on short notice Work Environment RTs are responsible for checking-in patients and rooming them. Flexibility with transportation is essential. Lunch breaks are divided into increments to ensure clinic coverage.
