Our client in the education industry is seeking a Systems Administrator I to join their team. As a Systems Administrator I, you will be part of the Department of Public Instruction supporting the internal technology support team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and experience creating standard operating documentation. Job Title: Systems Administrator I Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid) Pay Range: $24-$26 /hr. What's the Job? Provide customer service focused technical support, problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, resolution, and security in an enterprise networked environment Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming ticketing system, telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from internal end-users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related activities across the agency Provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex systems to resolve problems with desktop computers and determine when to escalate issues to System Engineers for resolution Support Wi-Fi connections/issues on both Agency provided equipment and guest/extranet Wi-Fi services Install and support Microsoft client operating systems in an Enterprise environment What's Needed? 1 or more years of experience in Microsoft Office 365 & Windows 10 Support Strong communication (written and verbal) General software troubleshooting Experience creating standard operating documentation for processes that have not already been documented Experience creating troubleshooting documentation for newly discovered software and hardware issues If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
