Overview

As a Senior Salesforce Developer with over 8 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing configured / customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet the specific needs of our organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions.

Roles, Responsibilities, and Priorities

Major Areas of accountability

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Customize Salesforce applications to align with business processes and enhance user experience.
  • Perform data migrations, integrations, and deployments using Salesforce tools and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and flows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce solutions through rigorous testing and code reviews.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of Salesforce projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
  • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.

Education, experience, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II) are highly desirable.
  • Over 8 years of proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and components.
  • Proficiency in Declarative and Programmatic platforms, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs, and third-party applications.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and data management practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
