Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and assessments of digital and analog electronic hardware.
  • Capability to use reverse engineering techniques to ensure complete product functionality
  • In certain circumstances, work directly with customers to understand all of their requirements.
  • Capability to create and provide comprehensive repair/manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Create and design test scenarios as needed.
  • Create and design wiring harnesses as needed
  • Enable incoming registration and screening for each arriving unit.
  • Execute a customized simulator program from a PC and analyze the outcomes as the procedures unfold.
  • Maintain product paperwork, document/record work performed, and keep records on products throughout the repair cycle.
  • Product inventory management and organization
Qualifications
  • At least 10-15 years of expertise in electronics, including design, diagnosis, repair, and testing of moderately complicated electronic assemblies.
  • A solid grasp of FPGA, embedded systems, and the many programs needed to work in electronic development and production.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • The ability to work with little supervision and multitask while keeping priorities straight.
  • Advanced troubleshooting abilities
  • The ability to read and comprehend schematic diagrams is required.
  • As a hardware specialist, you should be familiar with the usage of serial EEPROMs as program memory space.
  • Understanding of Compact Flash (CF) and the issues that may arise while dealing with CF.
  • The ability to read and comprehend schematics
  • Knowledge of electronic test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and function generators.
  • Knowledge of programmers and in-circuit methods for programming devices
  • Understanding of IEEE standards for electrical and electronic schematic symbols
