DispatchHealth is actively hiring Mobile Healthcare Medical Technicians to work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified (mobile) laboratory. This role involves patient assessment, monitoring, IV starts, blood draws, splint application, wound care, performing EKGs, as well as operating and maintaining point-of-care laboratory equipment.
- Work under supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
- Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
- IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
- Splint application
- Wound care
- Perform EKGs
- Assist NP/PAs in the daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit
- Documentation
- Supply and stocking
Requirements include Medical Technician with IV Certification, valid driver's license, BLS certification, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a core science or lab science and minimum of 2 years' experience in chemistry and hematology are encouraged to apply.
