Overview SOSi is currently seeking a Senior Accountant - Treasury IV to join our team in Reston, VA. The Senior Accountant – Treasury IV will be responsible for various general ledger activities including reconciliations, preparation of entries, project setup in Costpoint system, and support of the month-end close among other duties. Essential Job Duties Forecast daily cash position to ensure available cash for long term and short term requirements. Audit/Review monthly bank statements and daily bank activity online. Perform bank operations including wires, ACH, transfers, loan payments and draws. Assist in monitoring debt covenants and loan administration including borrowing notices, fee and interest invoices etc. Administer corporate credit card program. Coordinate and administer any petty cash or imprest funds. Prepare cash flow forecasts, reports daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly. Manage cash application. Support the accounting department in other functions such as: Analyze technical accounting issues (FARs, GAAP, company policy). Use expert excel and data analytical skills to conduct in-depth analyses to identify, isolate and resolve complex discrepancies, including performing timely ad-hoc analyses, account reconciliations, and variance analyses. Preparation of the Incurred Cost Submission. Support Costpoint administration. Support various audits. Performs other accounting related duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of experience in Accounting related position in government contracting. Experience working in contract/job order environment. Deltek Costpoint 7.0 or higher. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage and multitask complex projects under tight deadlines. Ability to work as a member of a team. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting Work Environment Working conditions as normal for an office environment with 3 days in the office with 2 days optional remote work.
