The Communications Manager is responsible for managing internal and external media communications for Ambrose, including social media, website, public relations, video and content strategy. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with all levels in the business to effectively communicate Ambrose's brand.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage Ambrose's public relation strategy including:
- Develop, manage and distribute press releases for new hires, promotions, new properties, groundbreakings, completion of projects, etc.
- Identify opportunities to further strengthen Ambrose's brand and presence through media engagement
- Solicit testimonials for use in marketing collateral and platforms
- Create talking points and prep speakers (as appropriate) for events
- Draft and publish compelling content on company website reflective of Ambrose's brand and services
- Keep website current by performing regular updates, creating new content that maximizes SEO, identifying opportunities to improve user experience and overseeing general maintenance
- Maintain website appearance to be reflective of the Ambrose brand
- Track monthly analytics and identify strategies to increase traffic
- Develop and manage bi-annual eblast campaign
- Identify strategies to manage distribution and increase subscriptions
- Identify and pursue opportunities for speaking engagements
- Identify opportunities for industry recognition and prepare award submissions
- Create relevant content that effectively illustrates and communicates Ambrose's brand, culture and accomplishments
- Manage social media channels, including posting, who-to-follow strategy and monitoring of engagement
- Identify opportunities to improve content reach and engagement
- Track monthly analytics to inform strategy
- Co-manage company intranet and office communication boards and plasma
- Prepare monthly company newsletter
Education
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related degree.
- 5+ years of experience working in a corporate environment or agency experience. Experience working in the construction or real estate industry is a plus.
- Proficient in WordPress and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Afte Effects, Premiere, etc.
- Be able to prioritize, manage and execute multiple projects to a high-level of quality within a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and collaborate within a team in the brainstorming, development and execution of print and digital content.
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Working Hours: Normal working hours with an understanding that occasional work will be required outside of business hours. Must be willing to work in the office Monday - Friday.
Ambrose maintains an in-person work environment five days a week
