The Opportunity:

As a Pega Architect, you know how to harness the latest technologies by developing low-code platforms and creating user-friendly solutions for your clients. We're looking for an experienced architect like you to support the management of Pega platforms from vision to production-ready, solving our clients' most complex challenges.

As a Pega Architect at Booz Allen, you'll design digital solutions, including integration with various APIs and implementations using Connect REST. You'll analyze business needs, complex technical architectures, and the client's operating environment to create solutions that meet the immediate need but are built to adapt and scale to tomorrow's changes. You'll participate in agile driven, product development teams that implement Pega best practices, including rules-based configuration, automation, App Studio and process improvements as part of the regulatory mission of the U.S. government. You'll work across a matrixed team of technical practitioners to architect, design, and implement agency-wide cloud based digital solutions. You'll also identify new opportunities to build digital solutions to help customers meet their toughest challenges.

You'll be a trusted advisor to your clients as you translate their IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation best practices.Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing, building, and deploying low-code platform solutions, including Pega

  • Experience building APIs and services to integratewith Pega

  • Experience architecting and designing business applications using Pega solution frameworks, including Pega PRPC

  • Experience creating Connect Rest and Services using App Studio

  • Experience designing scalable systems with PaaS and SaaS platforms that have been deployed to support a large-scale user base

  • Knowledge of Agile and Jira

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Pega System Architect (SA) Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience designing solutions using Pega 8.8 for government customers, including the VA

  • Experience architecting and designing Pega-based BPM solutions for large programs

  • Experience with Pega Cosmos UI Framework and Pega Robotics Desktop Automation (RDA)

  • Experience working with technology managers and the design team to discuss the goals and needs of the program

  • Experience designing scalable architecture systems using Pega

  • Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) and Lead System Architect (CLSA) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
