We need two senior Tableau Developers (Certified Preferred) with development expertise for Reporting to senior Managers. Communication skills must be great, and the ideal candidate will have experience in Financial environments like Banking, Commercial mortgage, or Trading (NOT REQUIRED). Candidates ***MUST BE ABLE TO START DAY ONE ONSITE IN NYC AND GO INTO THE OFFICE THREE DAYS A WEEK IN MID-TOWN. CANDIDATES IN NY AND NEW JERSEY WHO CAN COMMUTE. THEY WILL NOT CONSIDER RELOCATION.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop, manage and support Tableau reports for use by senior managers, business leads, Accounting and Finance and others.

  • Work with various department's report authors to create standard report templates and leverage business containers for reporting.
  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage Tableau to support additional business processes or functions.
  • Develop technical requirements, working within a team of system architects and data warehousing professionals for Tableau report data sources.
  • Support, manage and maintain data sources along with refresh processes and documentation. Support and test upstream and downstream data and/or process changes for the data sources.
  • Support, manage, communicate and coordinate changes with business owners on testing scripts & through testing to promote updates in development & production environments.
  • Create a Center of Excellence for Tableau and leverage the sharepoint site to educate, maintain a knowledge base and document repository, report templates, best practices and host multiple Tableau Days throughout the year.
  • Develop training programs and instructions for Tableau users and report authors.
  • Perform user administration for Tableau, along with managing licensing.
  • Participate in integrations between Tableau and other enterprise systems or other applications as opportunities arise.
  • Ensure optimization of all product features and identify new opportunities for enhancements and productivity

Tableau report development expert. Knowledge of commercial lending practices
Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
Bachelors' degree or higher in Information Technology (or relevant degree)
Tableau Certified Data Analyst is preferred
Tableau report developer experience (2-5 years)
Commercial lending acumen/experience (2-5 years) is preferred
