In this role, you will spearhead cross-functional collaboration between vendors and buyers, ensuring seamless communication and strong working relationships. You'll utilize modern goal-setting techniques like The 4 Disciplines of Execution and Agile project management to foster collaboration within the agency. As the Senior Manager, you will define category strategies, develop go-to-market sourcing strategies, and establish key performance indicators for vendors and contracts. You'll leverage cutting-edge technologies such as COMMBUYS CLM, Sugar, and CMS Supervisor to optimize our sourcing processes and ensure best value, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction. Working closely with the Deputy Director of Strategic Sourcing and other key stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, reviewing, and updating procurements and procurement policies and procedures. Your expertise will be instrumental in advising buyers and vendors, as well as collaborating with oversight departments to implement procurement-related policies. Experience in public procurement, familiarity with COMMBUYS and MMARS, and proficiency in strategic planning are highly desirable.
