THE WORK In this role, you will: Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to enhance efficiency in production facilities and equipment layouts. Establish and refine methods to maximize the utilization of production facilities and personnel. Collaborate to implement accident prevention measures and support training programs for all phases of production operations. Conduct studies on cost control, cost reduction, inventory management, and production record systems. Develop and implement plans for facility modifications and improvements to operational methods based on study findings. Partner with facilities engineers on the planning and design of new or upgraded facilities. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 1 year of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint (Access a plus). Data analysis experience Desired Skills: Experience in MES Solumina & SAP. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint (Access a plus). Understanding of Learning Curve Theory desired. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
