We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Integrative healthcare team. Our multi-disciplinary team treats a wide range of conditions, illnesses and injuries, and, most importantly, we provide preventative care. If you are seeking extremely high-volume, pressure-based days, this is not the place for you. Responsibilities: • Perform in-depth health assessments on patients in various healthcare settings in Anchorage, AK, US • Conduct thorough physical examinations and document detailed patient medical histories • Request and analyze diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies • Identify and manage acute and chronic illnesses effectively • Prescribe necessary medications and devise individualized treatment strategies • Offer guidance and education to patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and chronic condition management • Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care • Maintain precise and current medical records accurately Qualifications: • Successful candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications: • A deep understanding of medication administration protocols is essential. • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is required. • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems, specifically Athena One, is necessary. • Familiarity with psychopharmacology for treating mental health conditions is important. • Requirements for this position include: • Holding a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Alaska. • Completion of a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner. • Current CPR certification is mandatory. Compensation: $75 - $80 hourly
