Position Overview: The Home Health Account Manager is a key role responsible for managing and growing relationships with clients, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction, and driving business development. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of home health care, and the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
Competitive starting salary based on experience: $100,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and referral sources. Serve as the primary point of contact for account-related inquiries and concerns.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for account growth and develop strategies to increase market share. Collaborate with the sales team to drive new business and expand existing accounts.
- Service Coordination: Oversee the delivery of home health services to ensure they meet or exceed client expectations. Coordinate with clinical staff and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze account performance metrics. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on account status and growth opportunities.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise with clients or internal teams promptly and effectively.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or sales within the home health care industry. Proven track record of managing client relationships and driving business growth.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of home health care services, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
