Summary:
The Clinician will provide substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment and counseling for clients of Momenta. This includes case management, clinical assessment, treatment, discharge and aftercare planning. Clinicians will be responsible for all clients in their caseload, in a residential and outpatient treatment setting.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
Valid Colorado clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
Knowledge and background treating clients with addiction
Knowledge and background treating clients with trauma
Three years of clinical experience providing trauma informed care
Experience and knowledge of direct behavioral health services, including assessment, treatment, and consultation
Knowledge of diverse modalities of counseling and diagnostic principles
Knowledge of, and ability to, apply counseling and diagnostic theories and techniques to a full range of diverse client populations as well as co-occurring disorders
Knowledge of clinical research literature
Belief in a strengths-based approach to human services
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and data management tools and programs
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Experience working in addiction treatment
Hold a CACII, CACIII or LAC
Training and/or certification in experiential method of therapy such as EMDR, Brain Spotting, Psychodrama, etc.
Background providing family therapy or working with family systems
Responsibilities and Competencies
Provide individual and group counseling according to individualized treatment plans and in accordance with professional standards
Make treatment and social service referrals to appropriate agencies that support client goals
Create, maintain, and submit accurate records and documents in a timely manner
Provide crisis services as necessary
Take on-call shifts on a rotating basis as needed
Clinical assessment, treatment planning, case management, consultation, referral and education
Maintain documentation, client files, and statistics as required by agency policies and funding sources
Supervised by and report to Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor
Evaluate the individual and family systems as well as assess client's functioning within work, family and routines of daily living and identify areas needing continued support
Attend staff meetings, supervisory meetings and other events as required
Prioritize the use of best and evidence-based practices, including researching programming trends and current practices being used in other jurisdictions.
Provide updates to client's involved parties including families and referring professionals
