Position Description

You will serve as a IT Specialist (APPSW) in the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Corporate OPS & Total Force Group, IT/IM Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will conduct systems maintenance (e.g., upgrading, debugging) for continued system operability.
  • You will design tests for programs and databases to identify errors or complete modifications.
  • You will advise system users on troubleshooting application software problems.
  • You will author data management documents (e.g., data dictionaries, data models, metadata repositories) to meet organizational objectives.
  • You will administer security services to detect unauthorized access to information systems.
