Position Overview

The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for competently performing routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with the treatment plan developed by the physician. The successful candidate will work independently, exercise sound judgment, and use developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures, delivering accurate results in a timely manner. Gaining confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication is crucial.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
  • Certification & Licensure: ARRT - Radiography, RHTT-Therapeutic Radiologic Technology or RHA-Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
  • General knowledge of radiation therapy principles, procedures, and equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems

Shift Details

  • Shift: Days
  • Schedule: Per Diem/Casual
  • Shift Hours: 8
  • Days of the Week: Monday - Friday
  • Weekend Requirements: As Needed

The salary range for this role is $71.18 to $92.50 per hour. Compensation takes into account experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
