About the Role:
Are you a dedicated Radiation Therapist looking for an opportunity to work with a professional team in the heart of Silicon Valley? Join us and become a vital part of a well-established Radiation Oncology team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all radiation therapy equipment, including CT/SIM, linear accelerators, and high-dose rate afterloading machines.
  • Perform patient set-ups and treatments according to physician prescriptions and department protocols.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and schedules.
  • Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to radiation safety principles and infection control practices.
  • Create patient set-up devices, immobilization devices, and radiation field-shaping blocks.
  • Provide clear instructions to patients and maintain effective communication with team members.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and excellent customer service skills at all times.

Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • California Certified Radiologic Technologist - Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): Must be certified by the American Heart Association.
  • Patient Care: Excellent patient care skills are required.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED, Graduate from an Accredited Radiation Therapy Program.

Preferred Experience:

  • Use of record and verify systems and multi-leaf collimators.
  • One year of recent and relevant experience in patient treatment using various radiation therapy equipment is preferred.
  • We are also open to considering new graduates who meet the above requirements.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
