Requirements:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Boca Raton, FL (required);
• Experience in administering and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 7 and 8, including patch management.
• Experience in building and configuring Linux servers according to specific requirements.
• Experience in performance tuning of servers hosting Oracle databases.
• Ability to manage and mitigate security vulnerabilities on Linux servers.
• Experience with using SolarWinds for monitoring system performance and health.
• Experience in managing and upgrading Ansible Tower for automation tasks.
• Experience with VMware for managing virtualized environments.
• Experience in automation to streamline administrative tasks.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, network topology, and working within firewalled environments.

Preferred:
• Experience with physical infrastructure and hardware, specifically Dell PowerEdge servers.
• Experience in Unix/Linux systems engineering.
• Experience in ensuring systems comply with technology roadmaps and industry standards.
• Experience in upgrading third-party software used in the Linux environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide operational support and management for approximately 400 Linux servers, including OS patching and maintenance.
• Build and customize Linux servers to meet specific operational and application requirements.
• Perform tuning of Oracle database servers to optimize performance.
• Manage and mitigate security vulnerabilities on Linux servers to ensure a secure environment.
• Use SolarWinds and other tools to monitor system performance and health, addressing issues as they arise.
• Implement automation solutions using Ansible Tower and standardize systems to align with the technology roadmap.
• Address and resolve incident tickets in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
