Overview

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Harrisburg, PA

We are seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team in Harrisburg to treat at a a wide variety of patients from pediatric through adult from hand therapy to neuro patients.  This position works closely with Occupational Therapists and Physicians, bringing a team approach. CCC required. No weekends. Must be a SLP. No CFY offered at this time. 

Schedule: As needed, Monday Through Friday

Compensation: $50-$55/hr based on your experience. 

Unique Location/Job Details: Experience and ability to treat a range from pediatric (including newborns/infants) to geriatric.  Working with a multiple disciplines included physicians, OT and PT. Must have at least 1 year of licensedexperience.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs
  • Provides ongoing evaluation of patient’s status and goals
  • Develops comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes
  • Coordinates treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
  • Attends appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination
  • To provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients
Qualifications
  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
  • State licensure/registration where appropriate.ASHA certification is required.
  • 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
