We are looking for a ERP Configurator (Master Data & Data Conversion Specialist) to support our IT Department.

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ERP Configurator with a strong background in master data management, data cleansing, and data conversion to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and optimizing the Sales and Distribution modules and Order Management System to meet business needs, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of master data, and leading efforts in data cleansing and data conversion processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, IT, and external consultants, to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of the ERP and associated solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. ERP Configuration:
    • Configure and customize the ERP to align with business processes and requirements.
    • Develop and implement ERP solutions, including order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, and credit management.
    • Maintain and update ERP configuration documentation and provide ongoing support for any system enhancements or changes.
  2. Master Data Management:
    • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data related to ERP, including customer data, material data, and pricing data.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all systems.
    • Collaborate with business users to define and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures.
  3. Data Cleansing:
    • Lead data cleansing initiatives to identify, analyze, and correct inaccuracies or inconsistencies in master data.
    • Develop and implement data validation rules and processes to ensure data quality.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to clean up legacy data and prepare it for migration to the ERP.
  4. Data Conversion:
    • Manage data conversion activities during the ERP implementation or upgrades, ensuring accurate and timely migration of data from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
    • Develop and execute data migration plans, including mapping, transformation, and validation of data.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data conversion, working closely with technical teams to ensure successful data integration.
  5. Collaboration and Support:
    • Provide expertise and support to project teams, business users, and other stakeholders throughout the ERP implementation and maintenance lifecycle.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on ERP functionalities and data management best practices.
    • Assist in developing test scenarios, executing tests, and validating results during ERP projects.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in ERP configuration, including full-cycle implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of master data management, data cleansing, and data conversion processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP tools for data migration
  • Experience with ERP deployments in the distribution industry is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
  • Knowledge of various ERP platforms.
  • Experience with ERP data governance tools and methodologies.
