Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Application Developer with experience in data governance tools, web programming, .NET technologies, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Oracle, and Databricks, as well as a deep understanding of MS SQL Server databases and data processing. Experience with Python, ETL tools, and reporting services such as Power BI is also essential.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Iselin, NJ is $120k - $150k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET technologies or Python.
- Implement web services using SOAP and RESTful methodologies.
- Utilize data governance tools for managing and securing data.
- Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab for continuous integration and deployment.
- Understand and work with Snowflake, SQL, Oracle, and Databricks.
- Design, implement, and manage MS SQL Server databases.
- Apply Object-Oriented programming and design patterns in software development.
- Perform software installations and configurations across various environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly and efficiently.
- Analyze and document business processes and workflows.
- Work with both Windows and Unix/Linux-based systems.
- Develop and manage reports using Power BI or similar reporting services.
- Write Python scripts and use ETL tools for data processing.

- University Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with data governance tools.
- Proficiency in .NET technologies or Python.
- In-depth experience with web programming (SOAP/RESTful Web Services).
- DevOps experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, etc.
- Understanding of Snowflake, SQL, Oracle, and Databricks.
- Deep understanding of MS SQL Server databases and data processing.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with software installations and configurations in various environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues under pressure and in a timely manner.
- Ability to analyze and document business and process flows.
- In-depth understanding of both Windows and Unix/Linux-based systems.
- Experience with reporting services such as Power BI.
- Experience with Python scripts and ETL tools for data processing.
- Experience with Securiti.ai or Abnormal (not required but advantageous).
