Job Summary

Client is seeking a highly skilled Power Plan Application Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong financial background to join their team. The role involves mitigating compliance risks by applying complex tax and industry-specific regulatory requirements to the consolidated auditable set of financial books. The SME will be responsible for developing strategic financial asset scenarios that enable optimal planning for the present, future, and long-term financial goals. This position requires efficient adoption of new business strategies, industry requirements, and continuous improvement of cash and earnings.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply complex tax and industry-specific regulatory requirements to financial books

• Develop defensible strategic financial asset scenarios for optimal planning

• Adopt new business strategies and industry requirements to improve financial performance

• Collaborate with the Powerplan vendor to resolve bugs and issues

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and work as a team player

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the Powerplan application from both technical and functional perspectives

• Experience communicating with the Powerplan vendor to resolve issues and follow up on bugs

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of compliance risk mitigation and financial asset management

• Experience in implementing tax and industry-specific regulatory requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree
