Position Title: Project Manager
Locations: Remote
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
Duration : 12+ months
Job Type: Contract with possible extension
Pay Rate: $60.15/hr on W2
Primary Purpose: To develop and manage project assignments through completion, communicate results, make recommendations to management, and provide training.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Identify required resources, and research project data, procedures, and history for a thorough understanding of project direction.
- Generate and analyze statistical data reports.
- Develop, prepare, and manage project plans through completion.
- Communicate activity progress to involved parties and resolve client-related issues as appropriate.
- Transition programs to management personnel and participate in oral presentations.
- Develop and provide training to management and colleagues as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support the organization's quality program(s).
- Travel as required.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Courses in Computer Science are a plus.
- Seven (7) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including three (3) years of project management, office operations management, managed care, insurance-related, and/or statistical analysis experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of related field procedures, insurance-related procedures, and/or managed care systems and operations.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and statistical analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Demonstrated leadership, management, and motivational skills.
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
