Your Day-to-Day- Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct manual functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the software meets the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development process by identifying areas of improvement.
- Analyze, evaluate, and report test results and metrics to stakeholders.
- Perform risk analysis and suggest improvements to the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
- Mentor junior members of the QA team and share best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manual testing and UI automation testing.
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and programming languages like Java or Python.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with testing in the financial industry (preferably fintech).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- A commitment to continuous improvement (yourself, your teammates, your software)
- Great product sense and can contribute to the product roadmap
- Having a strong passion and great experience building consumer-facing products, we would love to hear about the apps you've developed
- Experience with mobile apps and web apps.
- Experiences contributing to product feature and business metrics definition process
