IT Help Desk Analyst Intern - Summer 2025

As an IT Help Desk Intern, you will be providing technical support and assistance to employees using computer hardware, desktop applications, as well as printing or phone system hardware and software. This intern will be the first point of contact with end-users and will use critical-thinking skills to deal with internal and external resources. In addition to support duties, this role will involve creating, testing, and automating the deployment of end-user images, applications, and patching. This position will work onsite out of Westerville, OH, for the Summer of 2025.

Primary Duties Include:
  • Systematic troubleshooting
  • Provide technical support for 200+ end-users, including local, remote, and mobile users
  • Properly identify priority issues and escalate accordingly
  • Own, drive, and follow up on end-user resolution
  • Responsible for documentation of help desk procedures, end-user resolutions, and/or any support issues
  • Install, operate and maintain basic printer, phone, computer hardware and software applications
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Other duties within the scope of the position as assigned
  • Some after hours support may be needed from time to time
Qualifiers:
  • Working towards an associates or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline OR pursuing an IT-related certification program
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Positive, customer service driven attitude; understanding of customer support in an IT context
  • Patience and curiosity for troubleshooting
  • Effective verbal and written communication skill
