Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NRP - STABLE - Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: EPIC Charting experience Job Description: - Work in a Labor and Delivery unit with 7 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms, 3 recovery bays, and 2 operating suites.- Utilize OBTraceVue as the electronic fetal monitoring system.- Coordinate and execute nursing care for patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.- Collaborate with the NICU and Labor & Delivery departments efficiently.- Participate in every other weekend rotation.- Wear galaxy blue scrubs as part of the professional attire.- Maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and fetal monitoring.- Handle an average of 80-100 deliveries per month.- Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.- Utilize SCUBEX machine for supplies as credited.This position emphasizes a strong commitment to patient care and effective teamwork to deliver the highest standard of maternity services.
