Summary
Under the direction of the collaborating physicians delivers health and medical care within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner as defined by the Advanced Nurse Practice Act. May be required to float throughout LMHS and perform other duties as requested.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with invasive cardiologist/EP physician along with other clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive cardiac care for patient from office visit, pre-procedure planning, hospital stay, and follow up visits and/or referrals
- Performs inpatient daily rounds with assigned service call cardiologist for consults
- Completes H&P, writes orders for medications, interprets lab work and test results.
- Routine office visits schedule, telehealth, and cardiac device clinic
- Maintain Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio
- Minimum requirement, master’s degree in nursing
- Maintain ACLS certification
- Maintain CPR certification (HCP)
- Maintain Board certification
- Prefer previous NP electrophysiology experience
