The Telemetry Nurse is responsible for a wide range of patient care activities under the supervision of registered nursing personnel. This includes participating in patient care planning, assisting with examinations and procedures, administering medications within scope of practice, and ensuring medication management compliance. Duties also include assisting with activities of daily living, recording vital signs, and documenting patient care.
The ideal candidate will have graduated from an Accredited School of Vocational Nursing or its equivalent, with active licensure as a Vocational Nurse in the State of California, AHA Basic Life Support and IV Certification, and ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
