Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area. Qualifications:
- Holds a Pharmacy Intern Permit issued by the State of New York.
- Must have completed at least the third year in a six year Pharmacy program.
Education:
- A High School Diploma or GED Equivalency is required.
Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of a Pharmacist receives, compounds, and dispenses drugs following standard procedures on the orders of qualified practitioners. Ability to communicate well with other members of the Department as well as other disciplines. Must be neat, have mathematical aptitude, be able to read various types of handwriting, and be able to recognize drugs and identify them. Must have finger dexterity in handling of unit dose and unit of use products
Job Type: Per Diem
Salary: $26.87-$36.73 per hour
COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged for all new hires prior to beginning employment at Calvary Hospital.
