The Rehabilitation Program Coordinator is currently licensed to practice physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy in the State of Ohio. The staff member will work across rehabilitation departments within Ohio State Universitys Wexner Medical Center, overseeing programming that encompasses physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy clinical, educational, research and/or quality programming. The rehabilitation program coordinator is responsible for assuring the integrity, compliance, and quality of rehabilitation at OSUWMC, including joint oversight with various programmatic team leads, quality, evidence-based practice leads, supervisors, managers and directors.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy or related field.

State of Ohio licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.

1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

90% Clinical

10% Administrative

Duties and Responsibilities

90% Clinical Practice and Additional Duties as assigned

The Rehabilitation Program Coordinator will maintain state licensure and will maintain clinical practice in accordance with State, Federal, Professional, OSUWMC and departmental regulations, policies and procedures. This may include practice at multiple locations within OSUWMC Rehabilitation. Clinical practice time and availability may be variable, based on programmatic and departmental needs.

10% - Program-Specific Coordination

* Provide program oversight with a scope involving single discipline amp;/or single setting

* Ownership of programs and initiatives at the clinic/departmental level that align with department goals

* Providing regular staff education to meet competencies (clinical and non-clinical), promote EBP efforts, support department initiatives

* Coordinate with key stakeholders and build positive relationships to assist with program maintenance and development

* Demonstrate understanding of department-level structure and differences of processes across departments in the same setting

* Oversees program or service line quality metrics

* Represents Rehab Services on service line-specific quality meetings

* Provides leadership with operational insights and data related to program or service line trends and volumes

* Assists team with continual survey readiness within specific service line

* Participate in State, Federal, and professional education opportunities, including, but not limited to, conferences, webinars, conference calls, and on-site and offsite meetings

* Consult external resources in order to establish and sustain best practices within OSUWMC Rehabilitation.
