M1 Supervisor, James Acute Rehab
Department:
James | SSCBC Oncology RehabilitationServes as the supervisor for a rehabilitation service team and/or program(s). Supervisor responsibilities include, but not limited to, coordination of staff scheduling for appropriate productivity, competency development and implementation, program/project management, annual evaluation of contingent staff on rehab service line team, and business development/marketing. Consults on major initiatives that may include multiple departments, service lines, and various administrative interfaces regarding the integration of rehab service programs and solutions. Responsible for rehab service programs/projects involving scope and impact to the organization; facilitates strategic projects involved in evaluating and researching new and existing programs, products, procedures and/or workflow needs associated with a designated rehab service area and/or profession. Responsible for providing rehabilitation services as part of a team. Clinical practice activities include, but are not limited to, patient/family orientation/education, observations, treatment procedures, training, interventions, educational sessions and/or activity counseling. Responsible for documentation of patient care and planned progression.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Speech Language Pathology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or related field. State of Ohio licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, RN or Speech Language Pathologist.
3 years of relevant experience is required.
4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
