Starting salary $80,000 and BONUS ELIGIBLE

5+ years of clinical management experience required

Travel required 50-75% of the time with the ability to travel to the southern region of the country including Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Arkansas

Regional Corporate Dietitian

Mentor and train registered dietitians and clinical managers within an assigned region to ensure clinical competency and productivity. Work closely with corporate and regional RDs to improve corporate clinical nutrition programs. Support efforts to achieve a quality standard of care and improve patient satisfaction and safety. Ensure state and federal regulatory guidelines are adhered to for all aspects of clinical nutrition services. 

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and mentor registered dietitians and clinical nutrition managers
  • Monitor dietitians' individual competency for regulatory compliance
  • Perform assessments and coach and counsel team members as needed
  • Monitor staffing and productivity to ensure adequate clinical coverage 
  • Ensure processes are followed and initiate performance improvements within trouble areas
  • Create or maintain facility-specific menu cycles to meet individual patient nutritional needs per state and federal guidelines
  • Guide patient services team in patient safety and satisfaction
  • Complete clinical and sanitation survey readiness audits and develop a plan of correction
  • Adhere to HHS and facility policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with Commission of Dietetic Registration and Licensed Nutritionist (LDN) or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN), as required per state regulations
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical management role
  • Expert knowledge of regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer programs
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time within an assigned area
