- Evaluates patient's physical condition and needs to establish treatment goals
- Develops corrective exercise and treatment programs for patients
- Supervises treatment, records patient's progress, and modifies programs as needed
- Instructs and demonstrates rehabilitative therapy principles to patients, staff, and student affiliates
- Evaluates clinical findings to determine physical therapy diagnoses and outcomes of care
- Enhances professional growth through educational programs and participation in workshops
- Collaborates with support personnel and documents evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Completes objective testing, therapeutic modalities, and manual techniques
- Communicates with referring provider on patient progress and treatment recommendations
- Provides supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants and utilizes standardized outcome measures
