The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong compliance background with concentrated experience in partnerships and corporations. The position will reside in our Florham Park, NJ office. We proudly offer a permanent hybrid work schedule.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review tax returns for S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from small to middle market clients.
  • Serve as a trusted member of the engagement team providing various federal tax compliance and consulting services to real estate clients.
  • Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries.
  • Partner with leaders on special projects in various areas of corporate and flow through taxation such as accounting methods and ASC740.
  • Develop tax planning strategies and recommendations for clients.
  • Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in the state and local, high net worth, international, research and development along with credits and incentives areas
  • Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs
  • Leverage your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with your clients
  • Mentor, supervise and inspire junior staff through active engagement and training.
Qualifications:/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Masters in Taxation a plus
  • CPA or active pursuit of license desired
  • 3-6 years of related tax experience
  • Demonstrate polished written and verbal communication
  • Dedication to providing superior client service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
